The art of molding and carving beeswax ornaments is a German tradition that can be dated back to the early 1600's. Lebkuchen bakers used left over honeycomb to create the first ornaments with their springerle and gingerbread boards as molds.

Our ornaments are made of 100% pure New York beeswax. We work with 5 local beekeepers that take excellent care of their apiaries to ensure that we are supporting happy and healthy bees. 

Please note that the color of beeswax can differ depending on the season. Some 
can be a dark yellow while some can be pale to almost white color. The color of your ornament will depend on what we have in season.***
